One of the perks of the job in computing is being invited to corporate jollies at various sporting events where you get to go places and drink beer while 'networking'. I just saw it as a fantastic photo opportunity (as well as an excuse to go places, drink beer, and 'network'). During this particular event on 19/09/1998 we were treated to Formula Ford qualifying rounds, Touring Car racing and an aborted Ford Fiesta race because half-way through the race there was the inevitable huge crash and there weren't enough cars left to race so it was stopped...
